How to claim your website or blog on Pinterest

It's pretty easy to claim your website on Pinterest. You need to add a meta tag to verify ownership of your website or blog. It's a way to say you are the owner of the website.

The website I want to claim ownership for is apparently this blog

To begin the claim process you head over to Pinterest and do the required stuff. More info here.

I initially wanted to find a way wherein I did not have to change the template I am using on the Blogger blog as it can cause issues with the HTTPS resolutions. However, it's the easiest, thus I'll use that method.

Click on the theme on the left side when you are logged into the Blogger account, then select the edit template. You'll see customize and there's a drop-down just on the right-hand side of it. Select it and click edit HTML.

Copy the "Add HTML Code" meta tag from Pinterest, and paste it in your templates head section.

Once the code is posted there, you are done. Click on the claim button, add your website name, and verify your website. Check the gif below to see how to do it.

That's all for now. If you have any article requests, let me know.
